When new words or phrases appear on the search suggestion lists for search profiles, you can inform other users with an email message by specifying them as an email recipient. You may add email recipients to all search profiles to be notified of any changes to the search suggestion list for any search profile, or add email recipients to an individual search profile to be notified of changes to the search suggestion list for only that specific search profile.
If a large number of new search suggestions appear on the updated search suggestion list for a search profile, Portfolio groups the new suggested terms into separate email messages, rather than issuing the entire suggested term list in one large email message. For each search profile, Portfolio sends out a maximum of 10 emails of new suggested terms with approximately 300 suggested terms per email. For example, if Portfolio finds 5,000 new suggested terms, it will group these new terms into multiple email messages that will be sent to each email recipient; however, Portfolio will not send more than 10 email messages to email recipients to notify them of the new suggested terms.
When search suggestions are first enabled for search profiles, Portfolio considers any terms that it finds initially as new suggested terms. Portfolio will email the entire list of suggested terms to any email recipients associated with that search profile.
